The weather right now is beautiful, and you might be thinking, “maybe we need one more RV trip”! If that’s the case, why not take the kids to Ontario for a scary Halloween road trip?
The leaves are beautiful, and the parks are quieter. There are a lot of places to stay, even this time of the year. But if a Halloween trip is what you desire, you may consider a stay at Sherkston Shores Beach Resort & Campground. Starting October 27th you can enjoy the Trunk or Treating event or the Halloween Costume Party with your fellow RVers. You can also stay at Mews Lake for their Haunted Halloween Weekend and enjoy trick or treating, pumpkin carving and other fun activities for the kids.
Once you are settled into your RV and have a safe place to hide when things get too scary, you can brave the haunted maze at Howling Hootenanny at Black Creek Pioneer Village or get your kids freaked out with Acres of Terror at Cannamore Orchard, where there is a whole spooky village and a maze full of creepy fog.
And for those of you who are determined that your children never speak or sleep again, might we suggest a trip to Niagara Falls and the Nightmares Fear Factory haunted house? It is one of the scariest haunted houses in Canada. You might not be able to deal with the fear, but you won’t be alone – 154,504 people have chickened out before they reached the end. Plus, they take hilarious pictures and videos of the fright, so you might get a wonderful blackmail opportunity out of the trip.
Not everyone is into Halloween, but for those who are, a final RV trip to Ontario might be just the thing.
p.s. there are 19 RV Care dealers in Ontario, so if the very scariest thing happens – your RV breaks down away from home – RV Care has you covered!
